by Joel C. on I am impressed! Out of all the Concentrics Restaurants, this by far is the best! Beautiful space, love the downstairs market, excellent food, fantastic service and HELLO, AFFORDABLE!!! Michael and Caleb took David and I to celebrate my birthday. We parked near David's old apartment and took a stroll around the neighborhood before we entered the restaurant. Upon entering, we fell in love with the space. It reminded us of our loft when we first moved in. When Michael and Caleb arrived we were seated next to the statue of the man and woman. It was a bit confusing on why it was there...plus it was distracting from us reading the chalkboard menus they have on the wall. You have two selections: appetizer and entree. For appetizers, David got the Bibb Salad, Michael and Caleb shared the Fried Oysters, and I got the Local Strawberry and Spinach Salad. For entrees, David got the Shrimp Burger, Michael got the Vegetable Plate, Caleb for the Catfish, and I got the Oyster BLT. Everything was very tasty and these were by far some of the best fried oysters I have ever had. Best drink of the night was the Pimm's Lemonade! The market is super cool...I felt like I was in another city. The girl told me that after 7:00, all of the breakfast goods were half off! They sold other local products besides food items, which is nice if you forgot to bring a present. I did come here today for lunch with my new boss and we tried the sandwiches. Joe got the Muffaleta and I got the Poached Tuna Sandwich. Very, very good and they were both packed full with meat and vegetables. I seriously can't get enough of this place and I want those cookies in the jar! I'm sure I will be a regular since my office is very close to where this place is located.
