by Po L. on Great for groups or a date. Not so great for the animals on exhibit, but you get to learn about them. Get to check out the exhibits without the underage folks. Drinks are decent, but that all depends on what you order and who is making it. Food is very expensive here but if you have to eat you have to eat. Parking is $10 but worth it so you don't have to run to prevent at tow at 10pm.
by Reba Kalima on Actually Jillians as a venue for billiards is great. Clean tables, semi-new pool sticks, chalk is always available and service is good. However food is on the salty side and kinda pricey for quality $16-20+. Appetizers, like buffalo wings and fries always taste the same anywhere so can't really say much about that. As a venue for PPV (pay per view events) like boxing, MMA (mixed martial arts) isn't that great however. I mean lets start with the good things, the sports bar is big so it can accommodate a large group. has a very huge projection TV so that you can watch all the action. Fans are mixed but most of the time they don't know anything about the sport. The bad, well, for starters $20 to catch a glimpse the action. You can probably find another sports bar for half the price. They don't always show all PPV events only marquee fights and events. Not a true sports bar in that sense. As a night event, I've never been here. But since I work in the Marriot I do see a lot of security and police waiting to catch rowdy rowdy at 2AM. Go here for the pool, or normal sports (like the giants going to the world series), other then that Boo this place.
