I was here for a pretty nice art show, one of my friends had a few pieces featured. The drinks were expensive so I skipped those, but I found myself easily entertained looking at the abstract and colorful art, photos, clothes, jewelry etc. This is the first "art show" I have been to and I can't wait to go again! I was enthralled with the pieces, I wanted to buy everything! Plus it was wonderful to support local artists and nice to do something different than the typical night out. It was a great excuse to dress up, wear some different jewelry and visit the city. The venue itself was pretty nice, I love venues that are older buildings refinished to be a little modern but still have the exposed brick metal stairs. The bathroom was constantly crowded but clean. I can see this place being a good night club, but I think I would skip it on those nights and instead come back for more gallery shows. Oh, the parking nearby is kinda sketch. I have never felt "unsafe" walking around the city at night, except for this evening. I wasn't paying attention and walked through a crackhead fight - literally - and its only about a block from parking to the front door. Glad I didn't get stabbed with a needle!

as with all "high end" nightclubs they are all "profilers". 6ft tall young male with hot body - you're in, hot chick with lots of hot friends - you're in, douchebag Ed hardy-wearing prick - you're in (as long as you drive a Ferrari). If you think you can make it in this club without any "hook ups" then think again. Money talks (as in Vegas), but looks help a whole lot. Owning one of those overly expensive condos at the W does not help either, you will have "preferred access" if the club is not that busy... nice. This place is overrated. Food, service, place... you name it. The only thing keeping this alive is that it is located above the street and the fact that it is in the W Hotel. Other than that, I'd stick to my local nightclubs packed with people that really know how to party...not posers waiting for a Hollywood break!

Wow, I have lived across the street from this place for four months, and in that time my wife and I have probably spent over two thousand dollars there. Not that the food is very good, it's just close and easy. I like thai and beer, and she likes sushi, so we often settle on this place. Tonight, either the manager or owner was such a fucking dickhead, I will never go there again. I'm not going to get into the minutiae of the situation, but suffice to someone who works in the service industry - in the city of Detroit, no less - shouldn't be a condescending fucker. Don't bother with this place, it'll be closed any day. Their sushi sucks, their thai is salty, and they don't know how to treat their dwindling customer base. Eat a dick, Oslo.
