In theory, this place is super cool. in visiting, it's just awkward. it sounded so cozy and elegant online, so i went with a friend to give it a shot. parking was a little frustrating, but we figured it would be worth the trip. we came in around 6 or 7 o'clock, right before the whole lounge part would've kicked in. maybe this place is better with alcohol, because we just felt like the mood was extremely "blah" inside. filled with hipsters staring at each other, empty spaces, and unapproachable bartenders. the decor was nice, elements of it were sleek and the fireplace was kind of cool, but the whole modern-design-in-a-huge-space just didn't feel right. we thought ordering some wine and a couple plates would help, but we got bored and had to pay for overpriced + mediocre tasting appetizers. meh. it's not that this place is a bad place, it just wasn't for us. something about it was slightly off putting.

I have been here a couple of times already. My second experience was not so great, but security did a good job of following through. This place looks a little hidden from the outside, but when you walk it, the place is gorgeous! As soon as you enter, you are outside again. There is a water pond display in the center, tables on the sides and a bar. There is also a FREE taco man there. You go to the left and that is the entrance to dance floor. It looks like a huge living room with a second floor over looking the dance floor. There are also free smores prepared when you walk in. There is a stage by the bar where the dancers are at. This place is one of the better clubs I have been to. Entrance is $20 and you MUST be on the guest list. To get on the list, you must go online and sign up. You should get a confirmation email within 24 hours.

I discovered this place by accident one night a few years ago on my way to Leopard Lounge. I am not sure if its a hidden gem, or I am just late to the party, but this is such a cool spot to grab a drink. The even cooler part is the other "secret dungeon" (Lava), that also provides a really good experience. It's hit or miss with the crowd here (sometimes its packed with great energy--other times you look around and you are the only mf there with a vodka tonic and a bartender thats nowhere to be found). The bartenders are pretty cool. The last time I went he gave me a drink on the house. I am not really a "regular" anywhere so this is not something that happens to me regularly.. Lava is a smaller space but still has the same cool/hidden factor. Once again great bartenders, very good/intimate vibe. I am a big fan of this spot as well.
