by Bonnie P. on eehh? I've definitely had better for much cheaper. They do have a great table for groups - we had 10 people and they put us in a private(ish) room with a great view of the kitchen. Cool spot! We got a a big variety of dishes and happy with them all. Only the lamb was a disappointment. The peanut butter cup dessert was incredible! The service was generic. No real issues but just missing character. Then we went in for the 10pm show. The Cuban band was fantastic but the layout of the venue is odd. There was a tiny bit of room on the sides to try and dance but not really. Felt really strange just sitting there staring at such an energetic band - wanted to dance! Guess a good spot to bring parents or older people? I have no intention of going back. Had a great time but would rather use the $90 we each spent at other places.
by Melvin Twiggs on My friends and I went to Klutch during our first night in Miami, which happened to be a Friday. We bought tickets online at http://wanttickets.com for $35 because some DJ was performing that night. We got there a little before 11 and it was very organized outside. They looked us up and got us in right away. One of my friends thought she forgot her ID (it happened to be in the back of her wallet but she didn't realize this until we had already jumped back in a cab and had gotten half way around the block. We asked the cabbie to take us back to Klutch). We got right back in again which was nice. At first we went to one of the upstairs, indoor bars. The drinks were typical Miami prices ($13 for a well vodka press) but the drinks were very potent. We danced for awhile and then went back downstairs to the main area that's open air. I love when clubs are partially outdoors. My only complaint about this place is that they won't give you tap water and charge you $8 for a bottle of it- even when you are ridiculously drunk ;)
