Very low key, could wear whatever you want. Didn't get a dance club vibe. $5 entry and $2 coat check, just use the hooks!! It was very cramped and I was able to smell other people's BO and saw some girl puke on the floor and almost on my jacket. Drinks were strong and CHEAP.. I had 4 beers and a mixed drink for $20. They played stuff from B.I.G to Usher's- Yeah. I like places that are a bit classier but it got me to shake my ass and not break bank.

Club Review: I've been to Roe many times over the years and I've always enjoyed myself here! The music is good (mix of mainstream and old school hip hop, pop, rap, etc. upstairs and trance/house downstairs). Drinks are strong enough but don't taste bad! Parking isn't too hard to find, and the venue, though small, is pretty nice. Must say, Roe's one of my most dependable clubs for a good time! *Warning: put yourself on guestlist and come early if you don't want trouble with cover and getting in! They hold the line and they're strict about people cutting!

It's cool! Though not in an ideal location. Seems like going on a driving mission to find it, and then it's not lounge friendly. Great for hip hop shows, and art shows. Definitely some Rock!! Not a frequent for me, but I don't hate!

Great venue, reasonable drinks. I went and saw an all girl rock band there, and I was close enough to ask their guitarist on a date between sets, and now here I am going on a date with a guitarist/lead singer. It doesn't get sexier than that, and I owe it all to the Cafe Du Nord.
