I went here on my birthday and one prior occasion. I like the atmosphere and the fun the belly dancers can have. If your not used to loud music and a dancer coming to your table I wouldn't choose this venue. The dancers do accept tips in their outfits (much like a stripper) which can be somewhat uncomfortable for some. Their style of dance is definitely Cabaret for entertainment purposes. They do get large tables up to dance around in distinct dance but I couldn't tell you the name of it. I am not of Mediterranean background so I cannot tell you if the food is authentic. Again, I went there for the love of belly dancing and atmosphere. I would suggest the flaming cheese to try because I enjoyed it as a cheese lover. I also like the hummus you mash yourself.

This is for the SUNDAY'S A DRAG - DRAG QUEEN BRUNCH. And the review is: AWESOME!!! If you haven't been to the brunch on Sundays, you need to go SOON before it is sold out every weekend! A group of us went for my birthday and had SOOOOOOOO much fun. The queens are gorgeous (especially CASSANDRA - we're STILL talking about "her" a month later!) and extremely entertaining. And believe it or not, the food is really good! It's a brunch buffet for $40 and includes juice and coffee. If you're like us, and you know you Rateclubers are, you will indulge in the champagne so expect to pay about $100 by the time you're done. However, for 2 hours of entertainment and more time with the brunch, we felt like it was a good deal. Plus the service at the Starlight Room is always classy and quick. And on Sunday mornings you can actually see the city from up there! Not like at night when you have to point out different lights... Go to the DRAG brunch soon!!!!
