by Heike Arce on THE MUSIC IS LOUD!! Which is freaking awesome. The only time I have ever been here was for the Armin Van Buuren concert. And when you go to see one of the best DJs in the world playing Trance music, you want the music loud! It was small, dark, and with 300+ people inside the place was packed so you could barely move. Appropriate for the concert and type of music playing. I can't comment on the place for an average night, but given the right event, you could have an awesome time here. It's worth checking out and seeing if its your type of place in the Scottsdale Nightlife circuit.
by Veda Sharplin on I do a lot of photo-shoots here on Fridays in conjunction with MyHeartBeatsfoSF and it's always a really great time. A few weeks back, I pretty much had to take over the place with a lot of photography equipment. The shoot lasted for several hours and after, we left a bit of a mess (sorry Sugar). All and all, the bartenders are great, very friendly and make awesome drinks - there's always a good vibe here. When I'm in the mood for a trendy bar, I really dig Sugar and will continue to go back...especially on Fridays.
by C P. on Impressive at first sight, and the idea of having dinner in bed is interesting. I had some out-of-town guest stopping by for their first time to the "Big Apple", and I thought I would show them a good time. After asking around and searching online, I found that this might be an impressive stop, and it was. Prices are medium to high range (got a bottle which didn't help), and the food was decent. Over all was a fun time, and visually entertaining. Would try again, but will skip the bottle service next time.
