Well I don't know what to say after reading the last 2 reviews to this place other than stating that after reading some of their other reviews it seems like they would be perfect as poster childs for Sex & the City wannabe's (sad really). You don't go to an Itallian bistro & complain about their Mexican food. You go to Dallas nighclub, expect to see country boot-scootin bordered on redneck personalities. You know, down to earth people & not people who judge you based on their own pretentous self worth. I've been to Dallas a couple of times (Wed only), used to be a patron of the place way back before it was closed down that i was happy that it reopened. Now to begin.... I am far from a country bumkin & cannot two step to save my life (really sad considering) BUT I do enjoy the place. Why you ask? Cuz unlike most bars/clubs here in Austin, Dallas is frequented by actual down to earth people looking to just go out & country dance & drink moderately priced drinks (aka cheap). You want to wear your Prada w/your Gucci bag, go to W 6th, you'll be a dime a dozen there. Here, it's jeans & boots, they keep it simple. I'm not saying that this place is awesome (it's ok) but I like it because everyone here is friendly, I KNOW!!! actual friendly Texans!?!?! who knew? No pretentuousness here folks. I'm not much into country music but I like this place as it's one of the few places you can go up to just about anyone & ask them to dance w/out needing to see if they're wearing $100 shoes. If you like country music & enjoy dancing to it, you can't go wrong w/Dallas nightclub. Those boots just aren't made for walking.
