I stared at the outdoor patio full of empty tables and wondered why the 1 hour wait was necessary. I had really low expectations and assumed I was going to get some pretty standard "pub" food but I was proven wrong. A 2 HOUR wait for our burger and fish n' chips. I thought to myself, "Wow, maybe they make things from scratch" but no. They just don't seem to care, no apology, no explanation, just a plate of cold food. Was it at least good? Yea, maybe if I ordered about 6 beers beforehand, it might have been half decent. I'd rather starve next time.

Avoid this place. I made a dinner reservation three months in advance for a special birthday celebration. Five days out from this reservation Supperclub called to tell me that it decided to accept a restaurant buyout for a wedding that night thereby canceling all of its reservations for the Saturday night before Christmas. You can just image my anger of being give so short a notice for my boyfriend's birthday celebration dinner. I have to scramble to find a new place that might accept such a short notice dinner reservation. This place is very unprofessional and has no respect for its customers. Do not put yourself vulnerable by making any plans that might involve this lousy establishment.

Went to the opening party and was quite taken aback. I have been to a number of restaurant openings here in the city, but at most they actually serve food at the opening. Isn't that the point? We stayed at the event for 2 hours and only saw one tray of food being passed around, and never made it over to us. To me the whole feel of the place just was out of sorts. It was a cross between SupperClub and some tacky asian fleamarket. It just felt odd. I don't plan on going back. I love chef jamie Lauren, but I think she's made a mistake attaching her name to yet another "Are we a nightclub? Are we a restaurant?" type of place.
