Opera is my go to spot when I'm ready to party. There is a dress code and it's posted on their website. The VIP section is well done and has great service.
by Luis Oyellette on Seemingly the destination of choice for any and every in-town big birthday party or group meal...I've been to Loca Luna for office parties, birthday parties, engagement parties, divorce settlement parties...sort of like the entire circle of life going on in party form in one place. On the plus side, the staff at Loca Luna are well versed in dealing with large groups and don't get rattled by them. They know the drill, have their rules in place for making things easy, and execute service efficiently. The food I've had here has been mixed. Some parties have definitely been better than others (in terms of food and company, let's be honest). I can't remember having any dish at Loca Luna that wowed me and made me determined to order it again. The space itself is cavernous and features an indoor pond. It gets very busy and noisy, so much so that you'll find yourself yelling to be heard by your friends. However, the odds are good you're going to be there with a big group or for a party so a little noise isn't going to matter that much.
