by Shaena M. on Totally whack!! I wouldn't give it long before this club goes out of business (fingers crossed!). Appreciate the concept of the decor but not the scene. The place was ridiculously big, but it wasn't crowded... like at all! On the plus side, no lines at the bars. The Dance floor was filled with your standard douche bags and ho bags while the perimeter was occupied by vultures scoping out their next prey. Seriously, the overabundance of guys standing around the dance floor looking for an opportunity to hit on a girl was grossing me out. Interestingly, there was a guy dressed head to toe in RED!! Red hat, red sunglasses, and of course, red shoes... and everything else in between... you guessed it! RED! Wow, was he stylish! Another guy at the bar wore a black shirt, black blazer, and... da da daa... white cargo pants!!! wtf? really?! yes, really. These are just a few examples of what you'll encounter at H.Wood. It also seems that the bartenders there have a knack for throwing in extra drinks onto people's tabs. My friend's sister and quite a few other people (including drunken white cargo pants guy) were stuck there for a while at the end of the night trying to sort things out. So if you do decide to check this place out, bring cash or just don't open a tab! But if I were you, I wouldn't waste my time coming here when there are better places to dance the night away.
