by Geronimo G. on BRUNCH REVIEW: I never saw concert venues with brunch before. Sit on the sidewalk, drink an acceptably great horseradish-heavy bloody mary. They fucked up neither the eggs nor the bacon. One of few outside brunch spots around. I'd come back in a second, esp. if I lived nearby.
by V.C. on I have been attending the free music Tuesday nights with Big Fat Gap and enjoying it immensely. But alas, I will not be able to continue going due to the heavy smoke in the bar (upstairs). I'm finding that it's affecting me for days afterwards. So when /if it becomes smoke free I will be delighted.

The restaurant part of this establishment will provide you with collard greens, fried chicken, potato salad and sweet potato cheesecake. (Do not skip the $5 home-brewed tea that comes with it's own Ms. Tootsie's take-home plastic bottle). For those who want a night on the town, the lounge next door is amazing. There are about four floors - huge cushioned benches, draped fabric and even local black-and-white art work. I recommend trying the restaurant first then going home and trying to get out of your jeans.
