Worth the wait. Wasn't crazy about the fries (regular or sweet potato) or the onion rings. However, the burgers are top notch. Not the biggest but everyone has great quality and flavor. Somebody is making them with love. The milk shakes are quite possibly the best I have ever had. You pay a little more for the decor, location, and quality but it is totally worth it.

For the Marinafolk when feel like "slumming it" down in the Mission. Actually, this isn't a bad thing, because it usually keeps them confined to one space instead of spreading out all over the Mission. Containment is a key component for disaster recovery right? Like if the city is being overtaken by zombies? But despite these warnings, you'll probably end up going to Medjool anyhow, as everyone seems to love to have group parties here. Come prepared for enduring an evening of drunken striped-shirts cornering you and telling you how "dirty and scary" the Mission is and how "me and my buddies will never come back to this area again". I've never been here for dinner, nor have the desire when plenty of better food choices abound in the immediate vicinity. (As for the famed roofdeck, it's nice and all, but.. SF? Is this really the best you've got? C'mon... seriously?)
