It's a chain, and definitely not up to par with the ones in Orlando or Atlanta. Compared to those locations, this one is not quite as good, yet still pretty good. The portions are large, however the menu here isn't the same as the menu at other locations. Also, I don't know who hires the waitstaff here, but I'm guessing he or she has an affinity for bearded humans. Thankfully, the only ones I saw were waiters. Didn't see many waitresses...hmm...Just take a look around and count how many dudes working here are sporting a "flavor savor". I dare ya. Anyhoozle, the salads are pretty tasty, nice wine selection. Bread is good, sourdough, but the oil is...kinda nasty. Like an old girlfriend of mine. But not in the same way. My waiter on the last visit was kind and gentle, if not a bit too gentle. Turns out it was (or so he said) his first week on the job. I felt bad for the guy since he looked about 60. He was a bit flustered. Didn't know the menu, didn't know the answers to basic questions when I asked about some sauces. Which, OK, I'm not a complete jackass I let it go. However, the more (allegedly) seasoned waiter came over to his rescue and he really didn't help any more than the new dude. What matters most is the food. I ordered a veal chop which took a long time. However, when it finally did arrive to the booth it was absolutely fantastic. C'est magnifique! Oh wait, this is an Italian place. Whatev. Bottom line, it's a tad over priced, but duh, it's in the Domain. Still, I much prefer both the service and the experience over at a Texas chain like Carrabba's, I will be back to Maggiano's. Just more like to be in a city other than the ATX. Bonus, the bar area is really cool and the private dining rooms are sah-wheat! Doubt I'll see you there, but if I do buy me a drink, sing me a song, take me as I come 'cause I can't stay long. ~JJ

Mango Mango Mango Mango. LOVE El Rio for throwing my favorite queer ladies party evar. Mango happens on the fourth Saturday of every month starting in March and ending right before it starts to get too cold to be outside. Currently, it's $8 before 4pm and $10 after. Party starts at 3pm and I highly recommend to get there early (website says before 4:30). I have arrived at a later time twice and have definitely regretted it because I had to stand in line for one hour. Yes, I kid you not, one effing hour. SO worth it but not fun to stand in line. You will find a great mix of people dancing to hip-hop, dancehall, salsa, merengue, cumbia, samba & reggaeton. An amazingly great time. And you've been warned: Cash only.

Been there a few times, food is really good and so are the drinks (let's not talk prices, bc I'll get all fired up) I felt a bit strange walking around in jeans, I felt like I didn't belong there. But, oh well... Staff is attentive (and good-looking) Would definitely keep going!
