by Basil Casillo on 1st things 1st, every first Friday of the month Nightlife Events holds a FAT PARTY here (talking about 1,000+ people). They call it "South Beach Miami" or something like that. You have to make sure to get in line at around 9:30 PM, because unless you got the hook up, there is a huge block long line. The main room is Hip-Hop/Rap while the smaller room is a cool salsa room. There is also a whole outside part to Cocomos where you can smoke cigarettes if you want to. The other time I went to Cocomos there were some weak promoters that put together an event there that did no justice to Cocomos. Make sure when you go, the club promoters are putting together something tight!!! Have fun : )
by Shannon C. on Tequila Rain...what can I say other than the music leaves something to be desired - overwhelmingly 80's. Maybe if there were fewer girls dancing on the tabletops it would be ok. A good place to start a rowdy night, as long as you are going with the people you want to talk with.
