HORRIBLE place do not go here if you wanna have a good time. small dance floor, stuck up OLD people,horrific music,wanna be young "club" goers,charge way too much for what you get. even if it was free I would never go here again. the way they advertise it is completely false.....
by Sophie Child on Lord have mercy, I'm really starting to feel like I hate everything. I really don't but my goodness. I'm a part of a Ladies Dinner Club and every month we get together for dinner and try new spots in the city. In April we went to Woodfire Grill, apparently the chef is famous and yata, yata. We had appetizers, I don't even remember what they were...well I can't remember what they were like. Oh scallops, that's what I had, very mediocre. I had pork of some sort for my dinner. This place does little food. You know what I'm talking about they put a piece of meat the size of your finger nail on this huge plate and throw in a green bean and piece of squash and there ya go, here is your fabulous meal. I don't do little food, hey I'm a big gurl now. Oooo and dessert, can we talk about dessert, why did we all look at that dessert crazy and no one ate it, it was some kind of dry cake, idk, but it needed improvement and some rum or chocolate sauce stat. At any rate we ended up leaving paying about $100 per person which is more than we usually pay and I was straight up still hungry. Overall, not impressed, I don't mind paying for outstanding food, but this was pretty far from outstanding in my opinion.
by Christina o. on the venue it self isn't anything spectacular. it's nice, don't get me wrong. but, it's not worth the price for bottle service. there is a bottle purchase minimum. that's fine. that is customary. however, what to do when a customer purchases a bottle and doesn't finish it b/c not everyone has decided to drink. MAKE LIKE PAT AND RUN!!! a friend of ours decided to try to take our bottle with us. the guy @ the door called it in and before he could get into our limo, he was off with the bottle with guards surrounding him, making sure he return the bottle and get back to the club. the owner, he finally came out and decided to give us the botle. afterall, it was not opened and it was paid for in full. so, really...it wasn't a big deal. lmao. the drinks were OK. they gave us some free food. but well, nachos don't cut it baby. the service was just OK. we didn't have a real nice large space for our LARGE group. that kind of sucked. the gogos were christine mendoza and some girl that nobody recognized. that wasn't a big deal. over all, it was just OK. if you plan to drink and drink and drink some more, bottle service is for you. if not, suck it up and put your name on the guest list or stand in line. but really...not worth it to me. Thanks, Wes for showing us a good time. This review is not at all a reflection upon your good intentions and invitation for us to join you at the club. I just personally don't like the people who run MINX. PAT is hillarious. good times. =D
