Whoever decided that tzatziki on eggs was a good idea was an utter GENIUS. I'd like to kiss him/her, as the gyro omelette is happiness on a plate. The diet coke is strong (my fellow fountain drink fanatics know what I'm talking about), service is friendly and prompt, and the grits sweat butter. What more needs to be said?
by Cecil Heydenreich on We were planning a going away get together for our coworker after work. We chose this place because it's close to our work place. I didn't want to go here for two reasons. One, I had a bad experience from the last and only time I've been here. This was like more than 5 years ago. The second reason is the reviews I've read here on Rateclub. A few days before, we called to see if we needed to order our appetizers ahead of time. The woman told us no. We called again the day before and asked if we needed a reservation for our group. The woman who answered the phone told us that we didn't need one and to just walk in. The big day arrives, we walked in and were greeted then asked for our names. We told her that we didn't have a reservation and we were meeting a group of coworkers. There happened to be two huge groups who rented out the place. She asked were we part of the groups. We told her we weren't. She gave us a puzzled look. She informed us that everyone needs a reservation. She looks at her reservation list and then after a few minutes led us to a booth. There was two empty booths at the time. One of them was dirty from a previous patron or employee. The appetizers were good but a little pricey for what you get. I recommend getting the veggie pizza. I ordered the mango mojito ($9). It was a glass full to the brim with ice and not enough alcohol. It was a waste of money!!! Our waitress was nice and quick to take our orders. She returned a few times to see if we were okay with drinks and food. We played 2 rounds of pool. It's cheaper if you go on days like Monday-Thursday. They have a huge wall with a big screen tv. There was maybe like 4 other channels playing at the same time. Pretty cool. Only go here to watch the game on their screens and for their beers. Don't get any fruity girly mixed drinks. Those suck!!!! The appetizers were good but a little pricey for the amount you get. 1 star for the food 1 star for our waitress 1 star for the tv
