by Michael S. on I went here on a Friday night and was a bit disappointed. When I went, the male to female ratio was a bit unbalanced. Secondly drinks were a bit too expensive. The building itself was nice and still has potential, but music wise is was suppose to be Reggae night and I hear all of the same songs that I would hear at a Hip Hop party. Not my favorite spot Meh, maybe it was just a bad night. Won't go again unless my friends really want to.
by Emanuel Jacquem on Really??? I'm a bit underwhelmed. I heard the hype and it was of course, tres chic and hip but the lounge had about 200 patrons waiting and only two servers working. Not to mention that the tables are too tiny for the small portions and that your have to share your ice bucket (of very tasty and expensive cold sake) with about 5 other bottles of sparkling water, wine, and what not with however is around you. (Which of course means that your delicious cold sake is not just under room temperature... like your sushi). The sushi, was good though. Blue fin tuna.... hmmmm hard to go wrong there. Of course, the dinning room aside, just getting to a table is a challenge. The host / concierge told us "Two for the sushi bar? Of course, I can seat you right now." So we give up our seats at the lounge and mosey on over, except now it's "oh.... hmmm, we don't have room. i though we did. it'll be just a few minutes more." A few minutes more to most of the world means.... 5 - 10 minutes but here, it's more like 20 - 30. And as fate would have it, as we walk over to the sushi bar... NO ROOM!!! But the quick thinking hostess leading to the night's dinning delights manages to snag a small two top and plop us down for the night. This adventure aside, my friend and I has a wonderful time once seated. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and tepid sake and the rest of the evening.
