We came here from our concierge's recommendation. We were looking for a last minute cute/trendy place to get a reservation on a Saturday night and he was able to get us in. The Meat Packing district is very trendy. Maybe a little too trendy where I can't feel at ease. But anyway, we arrived at Buddha Bar (I didn't see a sign for the place though, so we just assumed it was it by the big doors). There was no line and we were immediately seated for our dinner reservation. The place has 2 sections... a dining side and a lounge/bar side. There is no distinct wall for the two sections so the music is SUPER loud to accommodate the lounge side. We only had a table of 4 and we could barely hear each other talk. A lot of screaming. One nice thing about the dining side is that had a lot of large tables for groups that wanted to dine together. So it seems like a good place to start the night if you want to have a big group for dinner... but don't think you'll be able to talk over the music. I had the Chilean sea bass and it was delish! $29 price tag is reasonable for Chilean sea bass. One of the girls in our group got the Black Buddha cocktail and it was sooo good and tasted like juice, but had a legitimate amount of alcohol in it. The cocktails (even a plain cranberry and vodka or jack and coke) start at around $13. We checked out the lounge side after dinner. I wasn't feeling it though. It was infested with 30-something year old men. Not a fan of overly disproportionate male to female ratio. Otherwise, it's a decent place to grab dinner and drinks without paying cover. Very nice decor too.

Best burgers ever. They're not of the typical bar-food burger to chow down on variety, but ones that you want to savor, loving every gueyere-covered bite. Just when you think it couldn't get better come along their fries. I could eat three orders of them. They come in a cute little mini-shopping cart. Delux offers regular fries and sweet potato fries, which are a must if you go there. I always order a combo of the two to dip in their spicy aioli sauce. My boyfriend has made this our official weeknight date spot. It's casual enough to stop by after work but has a vibe that definitley makes it "date-worthy." I've always had great service, and have seen the owner strolling around several times. All-around great place to stop by when in Phoenix.
