This boat bar felt so utterly...New England to me. Being a California transplant, I had never seen so many frat boys in plaid shorts and penny loafers all in one place before. I felt like I was at the zoo, observing the frat boys in their element. I arrived here after having had a few too many sangrias from my brunch at Calle Ocho - NOT a good idea. I had been horribly hung over the day before, and for some reason the sangria brought it all back. The rocking of the boat made me sick, as did my disgust at having to pay $7 for one stinkin' Corona. I need to come back here when I'm in a better mood, because the place DOES have its charm.

I'm reviewing this restaurant because it looks like most people are reviewing it as a night club or dinner spot. We went for lunch in January. The service was slow, I think they had just recently opened. We too watched as it was transformed & looked forward to going there! The menu was nice, the waitress was nice, just superrrr sloowwwww. We have some impatient folks in our group, so she stepped it up, but if we were to just wait, we'd probably still be there! Look at my pictures of the food. We had everything from eggs Benedict to a custom ordered vegan meal which they had no problem accommodating. They had a good bar, but I think they were out of our first choice of beer.... All in all we had a good time but aren't in a big rush to go back.
