by Randell Pagoda on Definitely an experience and a place where you go to be seen. Thankfully, I only had to walk through that "scene" on my way out from a business dinner relatively early in the evening. The food is VERY flavorful and I enjoyed the presentation and friendly wait service. The tables are situated pretty tight (mostly rounds) so it was kind of a pain to get to the restroom in the back of the restaurant. I didn't have any alcohol that night so was a little sad but I would come back if I was with someone who has never gone. I will say, there were quite a few cougars out that night which made for an entertaining exit that night, but definitely not my scene wth how crowded the bar was. Food was great tho, especially the Hong Kong shrimp!
by Dominique Heaps on The service was as bad on my last visit here as the food was good; it's really a shame, because the food alone would have been an easy 4*, maybe even 5. We were sitting at the sushi bar, and had to flag down our server to even order, and then again repeatedly to get drink and water refills. We were doing $65/person omakase, so I would expect a little more attention; not only that, but courses dragged on interminably (the time between second and third course was an easy 15-20 minutes after we finished the previous course). I honestly started to lose interest in the whole thing before we were finished, due solely to poor service. As for the food, we had something like seven or eight courses, and there was only one dish I didn't care for, the fried beef tenderloin cutlets. That was more personal taste than the dish itself, though, as my lovely dining companion quite enjoyed it. The sashimi and nigiri were both wonderful (with the exception of one piece of salmon sashimi that was so cold it had ice crystals in it), and we had a dish of monkfish liver and scallops that was absolutely incredible. I love scallops, but in this dish they were far outshone by the liver.
by leen S. on Went here for the first time a few months ago with my husband...the menu is hard to describe. Its an "Asian Confusion" I would call it... a little bit of Thai, Indian, Vietnamese, American (salads) and Mexican? There was a quesadilla dish which threw me off. Anyway, the food portions were decent, and the flavors were all good, although nothing that really stood out. Decor was a spacious, futuristic-like temple. Lots of white, glowing lights and Buddha statues which I thought was pretty cool. Meh - Not the worst experience here, but not the best either.
