Unless you really enjoy being crushed in a line (which isn't even a line, more like a massive crowd of mostly underage girls and d-bag guys pushing and shoving trying to get into the club), stay home, get a case of beer (or make a vat of jagerbombs as that is more on par with the crowd @ LIV), and save yourself $1500. The bouncers only add to the problem as they just push everyone back towards the door as the people in back push forward.

The "W" Hotel chain is my absolute favorite. I always look for a "W" in any city I visit that requires lodging. I'm not sure I'm being fair to this particular "W", as I am definitely comparing it to other "W" hotels that I have been a guest in. This one (in ATL) was nice, chic, and sexy, as you would expect, but it was NOTHING compared to other "W" hotels. They CHARGE for guest parking ($10) a day, I had to send my breakfast back one morning as it was just bad, and the lobby and hallway furnishings just don't stack up to what one EXPECTS from a "W" Hotel. The bar and restaurant area were empty most of the time, and I don't even think they were playing that deep, funky, "W" music they play in the common spaces. Also, the majority of the employees were wearing "W" t-shirts. I know it's hot down South, but come on- tshirts at a "W" hotel?? I would like to think- not! I probably wouldn't stay at this one again, but they are building a brand new one downtown, so it may be more along the lines of what one would expect from a "W".
