I've had plenty of sushi in Philly, and it's generally covered in sauce and not the highest quality of fish. With that said, this place is legit. The decor is over the top- in a cool way. It's expensive, probably over priced for what it is. You pay for the Iron Chef name and the hipness. I'm into it. Birthday gathering, anniversary type meal. Best sushi in Philly, so far.
by Mervin Heilmann on East Side Show Room is a very "cool" venue for fancy drinks and live music. The waiters attempt to act like "old fashioned soda jerks" according to the description in their menu. The drinks are very unique, but WOAH are they expensive, especially compared to other venues on East Sixth. The average drink price is between $10-$12 dollars.
by Kathy D. on i expected more before going here. this place is divided into two rooms: dance floor and the other is bar area. they have vip rooms in the back.. actually just one i believe.. the room was pretty cool.. it was like all mirrors surrounded.. my friends and i went in there to take pics! haha. bathroom is for only one.. big disadvantage.. the music was alright.. the line outside was so long for a tiny place since they hit capacity fast. we were 3 girls and some bouncer decided to let us in in front of the line.. oo the advantages of being a girl! we ended up leaving after an hour since our friends couldn't get in and went to holy cow.. i wouldnt come back here again unless its for a really good reason
