This is one of the biggest clubs I've been to in the Bay area. Upstairs is a huge room with nice, white decor. There's two bars upstairs and they play only House music. Downstairs, there's two rooms, one with House Mixes and the other is the Hip-Hop room. The Hip-Hop room is like a cave. It's very dark and it gets really hot. There's a lot of break dancers there and you'll almost always see them in a circle dancing. The bartenders are ok and the drinks aren't cheap. I think there are 4 bars total in the entire club. It's a fun club. Nothing too special. I only like it because there's a lot of different areas to walk and explore.

Buca Di Beppo is totally screwed... Well, maybe not, but it is certainly possible. Maggiano's is basically the same concept as Buca but with higher end decor and a great bar/waiting area, minus the boob and penis photos and without a pope head on the table... If you're a big fan of Buca but aren't a big fan of waiting in their stupid miniature front porch area, Maggiano's will likely be your Mecca. The place has a nice feel to it. The waiting area is massive and there is a nice large bar with tables for relaxing while you await the opportunity to stuff your gut. Make sure you come hungry, because the amount of food they put on your table here is absolutely mind numbing - Oprah couldn't even finish the full meal here... Loads of pasta and meat or fish options, plus three really neat family style options in which you get one or more apps, salads, entrees and desserts. We opted for the classic family style with 2 apps, 2 salads, 4 entrees and 2 desserts, all for around $25 a person. The 4 of us ended up doing pretty good on the apps and salads, ate about half of the entrees and almost none of the desserts, but we all had lunch and dessert for the next day for four. Pretty neat if you're a fan of leftovers. If you really like something and finish it off, they'll gladly "refire" it for you, which means that they make you an entire additional order of it for free, gratis, included... Seriously! Food ranged from fair to pretty good - nothing was truly outstanding, but nothing was bad either. It's a pretty new place, so hopefully they'll tweak the recipes a bit and improve the taste. I think it definitely has potential. Huge banquet rooms are available for events as well. I'd recommend coming here with some friends instead of with just the wife...

Good place for good drinks and music. When I go with good company, I've always had a blast. Drinks are cheap and the music upstairs is good "hip hop." I put it in parenthesis because I've come to see that the gay community would consider Britney and Nelly Furtado hip hop. However, I'm not complaining, cause it's always fun to dance to. Some of my straight-guy friends have had good times here as well. It's a little crowded at times and I sometimes hear complaints about the abundance of Asians. I'm not too concerned about that, and I who am I to complain being and asian man myself. I don't usually complain coming here, plus you can grab a nice bacon hot dog right outside for the after-club-munchies.
