I came here on a Sunday night with some friends. We had drinks and dinner. Oyster shooters were great! The rest of our food: oysters, mussels, shrimp, ceviche, risotto, pork, and steak was pretty good as well. We capped off our evening by ordering a final round of drinks while sitting by the open fire. Overall, a enjoyable Sunday night in the city for around $50 person.

I've been to this place a few times and it's always a place I can count on to have a good time. I like dancing to hip hop and 9 times outta 10, one of the three dance levels will have it playing non-stop. The dj kills it! On the other levels, there was some sorta house/mashup thing going on and I didn't really like that so I just got back in the elevator and went to another level :) Aside from waiting for our first drink (the bartender wasn't doing anything, he didn't get a tip!), the rest of the bar tenders were nice. In particular Patrick was amazing- nice, attentive and made damn strong drinks. And on a Friday night after working all day, I need my drinks to be strong.. well done, Patrick! If you're looking for a fun club to dance all night in (they were still playing after 2am... LOVED IT!), this is definitely your club. They don't try to herd everyone out right at 1:59, which I appreciate. I can't wait to go back... just need a reason to party :)

The decor was dark and charming and the food (I had the quail) was absolutely delicious. Our server was unpretentious and almost motherly in a 'ev'ry stitch made with love' kind of way. I had a framboise cocktail, costing about $13 which was also delicious, but consisted of maybe 3 teaspoons of actual beverage. I couldn't help but think of the very decent bottle of wine I could've purchased while drinking it. The general crowd was made up of a mix of trust-fund twenty-somethings and upper middle class older couples. The music was also a delight (Bessie Smith and Perry Como? Yes!) The overall experience was just fine, but I can't really see myself going back here based on the slightly outrageous prices. The Good Knight is much better for a good stiff top-shelf drink without being tricked into eating a $20 egg-sized bird on lettuce.
