by Tiffany Y. on This place is a solid lounge with decently priced drinks compared to most places downtown. I came here on a Friday night with some friends around 10pm. It was DEAD at that time but around 11:30 it started to get more crowded. I opened a tab because I didn't have any cash. When I closed my tab I was hoping I didn't spend anymore than $40 because you could definitely break the bank buying a few drinks in the city. However, it turned out my tab was only $19! I don't know if it was a mistake, or I didn't drink as much as I thought but I was stoked on it. The music wasn't very good, but that's how I feel about most lounges. I don't know what's up with all these places playing this slow-jam R&B garbage. I swear at some point I heard KC and JoJo. This ain't no 6th grade dance! Who can dance to that!?!? How about some Too $hort or Luda for the ladies who like to shake their ass???
by Manda G. on I've only been there once (recently) and I'm reading the previous reviews which are either hit or miss. However, here is MY first impression/experience of the place... At first, this place looked kinda shaddy from the outside. It's located out in the boonies of sf-ish so I never expected it to be super awesome. Boy oh Boy was I pleasantly surprised by this club! #1 Reason why I like this place is the CHILL atmosphere. I appreciate the whole feel of the place because it's not an uppidy club where people need to dress up. At the same time, if you feel like dressing up.. this is still an appropriate place to go since most of the people that attend this club are super chill/relaxed AND they probably DO NOT GIVE A *BLEEP* about what you're wearing. I think this is a rare thing to find at any venue! The DJs were OFF THE HOOK! If you enjoy old school music(90's hiphop/rap) or underground music -- this is definitely the place to go. this club is a good venue if you're looking for a place to dance your stress away. The crowd is very diverse, which gives this place even more 'character' than it originally had. NOTE TO LADIES: Ya know how there are always those gross creepy pervo looking men that try to dance up on you when all you really wanna do is dance with your girlies/friends? Well, the good thing about this club is that there are LESS of those gross creepy pervo men ... however... please notice how I emphasis LESS instead of NONE. Let's face it.. no matter which club you decide to attend there will always be at least a few of those nasty pervo looking men lurking around the dance floor and looking for their next intoxicated prey
by Linsey Rudlong on This place was a regular hang out for Tuesday night drinks so many years ago, but quickly fell off the radar when the gang experienced some psychological fisticuffs. We went back the other night for a birthday dinner because it fit the bill in a huge way- oops- the bill was huge, by the way : watch out for the extra drinks and appetizers- deceptively moderately priced! But, plenty of parking, decent bar, live music, inoffensively bland Italian food, and friendly atmosphere. We ran into other old friends who dine here regularly, and had excellent advice from the waitress about the super slow kitchen. In a word: Unpretentious.
