Yikes! We're partying where? The Tenderloin? Great... I have to admit, I kinda like this place. Although I'm way too old for this ghetto-ass joint (and many clubs for that matter *sigh*), I've had a good time each time I've gone. Last weekend's girl on girl kiss between Saucy K and L2 was one of those moments that goes down in the books as classic. The drinks were pretty good, cover pretty cheap, and on a non-promotion night, the crowd is fairly diverse. The DJs are usually right up my alley, Hip hop with a bit of R&B and a gangsta twist, not too much of that overdone mash-up bullshit, that's SOO Vegas. We're in the Ghetto of da Bay, get it straight m&f'er. Minus 1 star for location Minus 1 star for not enough umph

Been here twice, once for an Element party, and I still can't get over the random fobalicious crowd where you can hear 3 different Chinese dialects on one trip to the girls' bathroom. Bar is annoyingly cash only (there's an ATM 2 steps away though), but bartenders are friendly and the wait isn't too long. The cover is steep at $20, so I don't usually come here unless there's some event where I'm on the list and can get into the upstairs VIP section, where it's nice to rest the feet on plushy couches away from all the grinding bodies downstairs. Music is decent, but it's hot and sweaty as hell in there. Besides all this, I find that my enjoyment of any club is also influenced by 1) friends I'm dancing the night away with and 2) eye candy or lack thereof. For the guys (and girls), they often have scantily clad, nicely-toned women dancing on pedestals. The ppl on stage can range from 'wow' to laughable -- provides for good entertainment before the alcohol kicks in and you decide to join them in making a fool outta yourself.
