by Ira Tharaldson on This is no place for sexy 1900s steel conglomerate tycoons, clearly. Isn't that quite the deceptive local photo? It looks like the type of venue that would rock my world or at least serve as the backdrop for the Backstreet Boy "Everybody" music video. But I guess the photog took a lesson from myspace, anybody looks good with a dash of hardlighting and a good swiffer mopping(?). I came here for Halloween to see Felix DA housecat along with every other sloppy devil and brotini within a 5mi radius of Boston. The Heartthrob kids were doin their thang upstairs and Felix took court on the lower level. He was nothing short of unmemorable. I had more fun dancing and romancing with my crew then watching his clan of fuk4trax gyrating near his booth. The venue itself is spacious and I could see it being a good place for an event other than whateverthiswas, especially with the expansive balcony that doughnutted above the dance floor. Most of my night was spent rockin out in the smaller room, mackin $12 drinks in dixie cups(te lame) and peeling velcroed boners off myself and my friends. Step back you're dancing kinda close. At least there was a table that we could tear shi...oh, we have to get down? Ok. -tail between legs-. That table was asking for it...less than a foot off the ground and comprising 1/4 of the dance floor, it wanted to be a stage.
