The Iguana has some of the best guacamole you're likely to find in NYC made fresh right at your table. Although most people - myself included - tend to shy away from Times Square and the immediate vicinity, the Iguana is worth the trip through the belly of the tourist beast.

Now, it seems, it's just for regular chicks to get dressed up in their bi-curious outfits and huddle in giggling groups around the periphery of the room. Well, I never did the school dance thing very well and I sure don't now. Now I'm just here to burn calories. So the key to making the Cat Club (or just 1984 Thursdays, since I know that's what you're going for, you sheep) workable is to get there at 9:00 when the back room is empty, dance the shit out of that room when it's just you, an old tranny or two, and a couple dudes who just clearly came from a rousing D&D game. Those people are cool about not snickering at two chubby girls breaking it down in an unseemly fashion, and then when the judgmental bitches start to pour in, you can just take your sweaty self to Maggie Mudd's, which is where you really wanted to be all along. Don't lie. (Bonus points for projecting the awesome movie "Class of 1984" on the wall! Gang rape and a baby faced Michael J Fox: what could be more danceriffic!?)
