All I know is...I had a great time here. Sure the place is stuffed to the gills, but it's really spacious and there's an down & upstairs. I really liked it upstairs because you were out in the open yet still half inside since it was covered. The drinks were good, the music was good, and the people are pretty nice. I mean I didn't see anyone getting huffy or giving anyone the stink eye just for bumping into them. I do want to comment on those crazy stairs though. You go up one story but the stairs are broken down in two parts. So while we were going walking up, some people were coming down and one of them needed a lot of assistance. Yeah, they look pretty dangerous. I can't imagine trying to get by after being a few sheets to the wind. All in all, I had a great time though, and when it got hot on the dance floor we just migrated further out to the open space upstairs were the air would blow on us every now and then.

I will never go back to Jillian's again. I had my graduation party from USF Master's program here and had the most horrible evening. I had called the day before to confirm the dress code: no tennis shoes for the club and the cost of $20. Half my party was inside the club and when my friends who had arrived at about 12 am tried to get in the guys were told that they needed a blazer and the girls were told that they needed a dress. They were told that if they wanted to come in they would have to pay $40. My professor, fellow graduates and friends who had travelled all the way from Sacramento were denied entrance into a club/sports bar that was not near full capacity, where only 1 or 2 people were wearing a blazer or a dress. Also, the fact that they would allow them to enter if they paid $40 indicates that there is no defined dress code. Jillian's is no place to go. The people are rude, the staff and management are on two different pages, and it is not somewhere you would like to go especially for a special event because they will probably screw it up. A graduation is a time to celebrate and enjoy the company of all the people who have supported you. In return I ended up having a horrible evening and was completely embarrased. DON'T GO TO JILLIAN'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It doesn't even deserve 1 star
