Wow, such divisive reviews. Yeah, food there sucks, sure, fine. The dance club part is alright, and the doorman has always been nice to me. But seriously, there's only one part of Hong Kong worth hitting up. Bowls. Delicious, deliciously alcoholic scorpion bowls. I've had excellent luck with the 1 bowl, 1 scallion pancake, 2 people rule. Lately, they won't even serve me and my friends more than 1 bowl per 2 peope anyway. Which was totally fair, because one of my friends removed his pants in the bathroom and they remained off until we voluntarily left. And that was after just one round of bowls. And no one really seemed to notice. I love this place. No drinking adventure in Harvard is complete without a stop to the first floor of Hong Kong.

So I've never eaten, I'd just like to put that out there, but I'm sure the service I've gotten at the bar was 1. because a very attractive girl friend of mine and I use to go here 4 nights a week because our jobs made us want to forget the world existed and 2. because I could make a good joke and keep that bartender on his toes. Is it a biased review - probably. So I'm going to try to think respectively by saying if take good care of your barkeep they take good care of you. Martini's here are great, I can't drink extra dirty martini's any more but that's for a different reason, not because they weren't made well. Staff was always pleasant and I will say on more then one occasion the bartender came to the rescue when some pretty scary acting gentlemen wouldn't leave me or friend alone. Downside? It's an average place, was good for my after work woe release and they never seemed to have any Red Bull on hand, good thing I carry it in my purse for emergencies. Upside? An average place with good friends is still a great time.
