The guacamole is not the best, but I really didn't need it because their special sauce was enough flavor for me. Quick, casual..sit anywhere you want! Yumm can't wait to get some more tacos later.
by Andrea S. on I went to an all-night party here, and it was excellent. The place was setup just perfectly. I love how you can go outside on the deck out on the San Francisco Bay, and there are multiple rooms inside so there were many different styles of music playing in each area/room (it was all electronic music: electro, hardcore, breaks, dnb, trance, psy-trance, er, every style!), AND they had things to do... painting in a black lit room with glow pens, molding out of clay... the artwork was spontaneous and a group effort in each room, and everyone seemed to love it there and love being with one another. There were no sad faces or upset people! Everyone was definitely getting it on, on the dance floor! Too bad there was one guy who kept clinging to me and trying to hog my attention and buy me drinks... I wasn't into the stalker thing at all. But the place is set up great, with a bar on each level (there are 2 stories) and being able to choose whether to be inside or outside is great. PLUR Oh yeah, the drinks were nice and strong!! Excellent free pour!

Granted, if you're coming to pick up women, you might not be so successful here, particularly if you're concerned about cradle robbing. But if you have a group of friends who like to dance, I think this place is fine! I have no experience with the heavy cover charge OR with the drinks, not being a drinker myself. They have a special guestlist that you can sign up for up to the day before, where if you show up before 11 pm, you can get in for free. Yes, it's a little empty at that time, but if all your friends show up early too, then you probably won't care or notice so much. The music is pretty good, if you're a twenty/thirty something. They play (on Saturday nights) hits from the radio, and throw in some odd choices that are sure to please those in the crowd who are a little "older." But all are pretty danceable, and the DJ is certain to notice if people like the song or not, and quickly corrects if people look too astonished. I did think that it was rather Asian heavy, but then again, I've never been to a club where that hasn't been the case. Must be because I'm Asian.
