Love Tenjune. Yes there was a line, but somehoe we were cherry picked out of it and whisked in the front door.... and we brushed by Sophia Bush in the process. (She's gorgeous by the way.) Music was good, but a bit older than most of the neighborhood's spots which I enjoyed. It was nice to mix up the Top 40 with some classics. Drinks ran about $14 if I remember correctly but it was such a great environment that I didn't care. There's a back room on the lower level that had a really hot female bartender who got us drinks promptly... maybe because we told her she was really pretty. Can't wait to go back!

I really (REALLY) like Ecco, and I'm not one of these gets dressed up to go to a slick restaurant for a fancy dinner type guys.  That said, on my last visit to Ecco I felt a little under dressed - in jeans and a polo.  But, I think that I was the only person bothered by it.  Ecco's atmosphere is sleek and sophisticated, and there alway seem a lot of pretty people milling around. I should also mention that I've never done Ecco for a proper dinner - we've always gone for the small plates and tasting menus.  The meats and cheeses, which are $4/per selection are super-high quality and always make an appearance at our table.  We usually get the same 5: speck, bresaola, prosciutto, ribiola, and gorgonzola dolce.  You can't go wrong with these.  But, if you can't make up your mind, the servers will be there to give you a hand. The taste & share menu is equally as impressive, the baby eggplant is a favorite too.  One word of caution, it's easy to get a little carried away with the dining experience.  So, the bill often starts inching up.   But, it was fun dining experience so it all balances out. There's a late night menu that includes the small plates for slightly less cash.  So, it might be worth a stop on the way home from the bars. They have an extensive, yet reasonably priced, wine & beer list and they pour their gin & tonics strong.  Both plusses in my book
