Went here last Sat to party with a friend for her birthday. I was really in the mood to get drunk and boogie my ass off. Mission accomplished at Roe. I was on the guest list so I can't really comment on the cover charge. The VIP line was longer than the paying customers line. You know what they say....a long line outside...empty inside. Well we did get there ridiculously early since we went to eat dinner a block a way from here. By 11:30 though, it was packed. Especially the top floor, which had hip hop. I like that there were 3 floors with 3 different types of music. Overall I think it was a decent experience. Not sure if I'd go again if it the cover is $20. I rather take that $20 to Ruby Skye. But if you get on the guest list...check it out.

My home away from home! I'm here for Remedy nights (great parties), Bootie Nights (best mash-up parties in SF), Bohemian Carnival parties (fun fun fun). Watch out...drinks are strong. Most notably, the security at DNA is awesome. They are nice and aren't on a power trip. Thanks DNA for many awesome nights (the ones I can remember at least)!

I wanted a neighborhood bar that had some TVs and a Golden Tee box. I found it. It wasn't far from my house, it seemed popular in the summer time, and it had room to have a few friends drop by as well. I really didn't mind the fact that the food was very average or that the service was seemingly an afterthought. I also didn't mind that the prices on bottled beer were a bit high. And I didn't mind that the main TV room seemed to be unoccupied or even closed off most of the time. The only part of this place that is exceptional to me is that it is the closest "normal bar" to my house. There's really nothing more to it, so it earns a 3 out of 5 stars.
