by Amanda G. on Oh another one - meat market that is. Those with money have a table, a bottle, and what looks like, prostitutes...ok maybe a lil harsh there. But really this place is such a cliche with it's wealthy men and gold digging women. Its had a ton of different ownership but it still screams meat maket. Drinks are pricey, there's usually a cover, music is fairly typical hip hop, go-go dancers are mildly entertaining, and the actual setting is pretty cool. Main point: if you're the shit - or think you are - and want to flaunt it, go to the Estate.

It is always a great place to catch up-and-coming artists, or even some of your old favorites, e.g. Ryden, Tunstall, Doze, etc. Wednesdays holds the ever popular happy hour hosted by QOOL, packed usually, with progressive house on the 1's-and-2's. You can find a myriad of events at this spot, just check their website. Can be noisy at times, can be that perfect back-lounge-beat at others--that's what makes it 111
