by Doyle Mehalic on Food is good and fairly priced, beef tongue tacos are fab. Chorizo tacos are amazing. Wait staff is friendly not stuck up but a bit lacking in service sometimes (probably mostly due to the crazy atmosphere). Live music every night and half off tapas bar every day 5-7.
by Rebecca D. on It's alright, not bad not great. I guess if I was a super preppy, blond high heel wearing chica, it would be a good place and more my social scene. I really liked the music, a mix of some old school r &b and even a little Tom Petty in the mix. The cocktail waitress was very nice and willing to serve us when a few of us sat at a reserved table that wasn't for us. It's a pretty chill place, not too exciting and the drinks are well priced. Paid 20 for 3 mixed drinks.
by Santo Yamashiro on Phoenix Landing has it's moments...RARELY. I enjoyed my time there when I went there for African Rhythms night but other than that I have no reason go there. The bartenders are friendly and fast. And again it's funny to watch crackers dance as it looks like they are in pain. Guys are friendly to each other buying drinks for one another and shootin' the shit. The girls are rude but for good reason. Though my friend and I were just leaning against the bar and watching the scene unfold, we saw so many girls getting grabbed, "grinded" and groped which understandably puts their guard up - WAY UP! Having a cover charge at a very casual place like this is LAME!
