This is the first club that I went to when I got into the city, mainly because it was the one place that kept popping up after I googled under 21 clubs in west village. My friend is under 21 so we thought we'd try it out and I do have to say that he, yep that's right an under 21 guy got in with no hassle. If you like house music this is the place for you to go! The cover was a bit expensive ($25) and the drinks were as well ($15 margarita) but the atmosphere was awesome, as well as, the decor. The venue did have a lot of under 21 crowd so if your a bit older I'd pass.

Went here on a Saturday night. It was packed. Not packed like 'this place looks popular' or pack liked 'there are a lot of people here,' it was packed like 'definitely a violation of fire code because every square inch of floor space has a person standing on it.' Bourbon Street on the Saturday before Fat Tuesday at 11pm isn't even this packed, and there are 800,000 people there. The music was great, the fine mashups played here always demonstrate a wonderful level of skill on the part of the DJ. It is good to see a place where the prick thinking he is God's gift to mankind because of his ability to hit the play button is neither a prick, nor so completely unskilled. Quite the opposite. Music was at a nice volume level too, and the atmosphere was nice, but the sheer number of people in this place made brought the review down. To quote Yogi Berra, 'that place is so busy no one goes there anymore.' If you are under 5' 5", suffer from claustrophobia, respect you personal space, have an issue with touching (or being touched by, inadvertently or not) random strangers, or are afraid of crowds, stay away. If you like being part of a bobbing sea of people though, have fun.

such an amazing venue. its so classy it just drips with memory and soul. the second you step in, you just feel as though you're in a time warp, and that your surroundings have suddenly brought you somewhere foreign and special. i saw m. ward here the other night and was right up against the stage, watching him play his guitar and sing his heart out. his voice can hush and full house and keep anyone quiet for forever. kinda like bimbos.
