I actually stopped by this place to use the restroom and ended up staying here almost the whole night, that's how awesome it was. The decor inside is fantastic, totally modern high-end vibe. The dj here keeps that vibe moving and some people were even getting down around their tables. I stayed at one of the bars with my group and the service was spectacular. The drinks were a bit expensive about 15 dollars a piece but in my opinion worth it. I had an awesome time and will be back to actually have dinner/dessert.

I think it was my second time there... Saturday night at about midnight. What I thought was great was the staff, the atmosphere, bathrooms and how the women REALLY get into character for Salsa! Yes, even the bathrooms I thought were pretty good. Oh yes, they have a little snack area where you can get some pretty good Mexican food for pretty cheap. I had a quesadilla for $5 with meat. I had two! Luckily, it wasn't crowded cause it wasn't very fast. Since I was on a party bus, I didn't have to pay for the cover, so I couldn't tell you how much it was. Parking looks like can be a problem. If it were a little better decorated and better lighting, I would give this place a 5-star for sure. A totally fun place to salsa and the people who go are really fun.

Roe is a no-go. There is nothing terrible about the sushi, but for the exorbitant cost I expect to be served by a gold-plated waitress. The rolls were well-constructed and the presentation was very nice, yet they were unremarkable in taste. I got that not-so-fresh feeling from the fish. The sake nigiri was a little dry and the color was slightly pallid. The dining room is on the small side, its decor ultramodern and chic. This was slighly off-putting, as I don't enjoy the feeling of eating in a modern art museum. However, my understanding is that this is what the trendy kids are into these days, so who am I to argue? Roe Restaurant gets 3 stars for its perfunctory food at ridiculously high prices. Speaking of trendy kids, they all appear to be hanging out upstairs at Prive, the bar/club of choice for the undiscerning socialite. The music is pretty good, I must admit, and the cost of a drink is typical for a San Francisco hip joint. However, the $20 cover really has to go. There are much cooler places for free. Also, the place can get pretty packed as the night waxes, so be prepared to fight your way to the bar/dance floor/bathroom/fire escape. The crowd is young, impeccably dressed, and terribly slutty. Prive gets 3 stars. Bonus: it's right across the street from the Gold Club.
