I had a group birthday party there simply because a best friend's boyfriend used to do promotions for them and was able to hook us up with free champagne, discounted table service, great booths, and line privileges. So, TWO STARS for being accomodating...up front. But, the crowd was immature, the music was spastic, and the drinks were expensive for how badly they were made. Plus, the dancers there are atrocious, and aren't even good to look at, and some "hefy woman" kept shaking her "thang" from on top of the bar. Amusing, but not great for ambiance, charm, or status. To top it off, a fight broke out earlier on, my friend got a pool of blood at the base of her spine from having a stranger tossed in to her, one thug from the fight broke the chandelier over my private booth, spilling a full table of drinks, and I got a shard of glass wedged in to my calf...and not a SINGLE employee there apologized, comped our spilled drinks, or checked to see if we were okay. They literally cleaned up around us, avoided eye-contact, then slunk away. Classy.

My fave neighborhood dive bar. Even if you don't live in the 'hood come on: Sunday Afternoons: live salsa bands, high energy of people having a good time...infectious! -or- Friday Happy Hour: free oysters!

This Las Vegas style mega-club is all flash and no substance. It's not really a bowling alley with only 10 lanes, and not really a cool nightclub with it's too plain atmosphere and cavernous ceilings and bright lighting. Sister to Dolce downstairs, this place is struggling for an identity of its own. Big complaints: $9 for a Stoli Tonic, $6 for an Amstel light. They don't even carry Bud or Miller products. Also bowling is $80 per hour per lane, which is laughable if you think about it.
