for all you haters... http://www.theatlantic... I couldn't tell you if the owners subscribe to this particular philosophy, but I do feel it could apply to their cocktail menu. If you want a drink in a hurry order a bottle of wine, or go to Trudy's or something. (full disclosure: I also love what Trudy's does)

After two weeks of talking about Flip Burger Boutique -- I finally made it! I was definitely not disappointed. The food was well worth the wait, and a big plus was that they are willing to take your cell phone number when you put your name in at the hostess stand. I always get very impatient waiting to be seated, so instead of standing in the (rather cramped) waiting area, I walked around the neighborhood and chatted with a friend. I ordered the butcher cut, which was an excellent choice... but next time I am going to be a little more adventurous. The burger was small, but extremely filling! We also ordered a side of sweet potato tots (which were incredible) and the Krispy Kreme milkshake, which tastes EXACTYLY like it sounds! I was a little worried about the texture, but pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be back!

This Las Vegas style mega-club is all flash and no substance. It's not really a bowling alley with only 10 lanes, and not really a cool nightclub with it's too plain atmosphere and cavernous ceilings and bright lighting. Sister to Dolce downstairs, this place is struggling for an identity of its own. Big complaints: $9 for a Stoli Tonic, $6 for an Amstel light. They don't even carry Bud or Miller products. Also bowling is $80 per hour per lane, which is laughable if you think about it.
