On Saturday Sept.4, 2020 my friend was celebrating her birthday at this club. We were invited and put on the guest list so that we could go in without getting on line and no cover charge before 1AM. SO when we get there at approximatively 12:30am, one of the security guards says that 2 of my friends were not on the guest list, so we explained them, we all coming together, that all were suppose to be on the GL, so they let them in. When we were coming inside the club another security guard says that we have to pay 10.00 dollars each because it was past 12am and it is a discount if we get in before 1am, we were already getting angry by all of this drama and non sense by these bouncers... so we go to the line and when we are about to pay the woman at the register or cashier says that its already 1am, that we have to pay 20 each, it doesnt matter if we were on the guest list or no, so we decided to talk with the manager, when the manager comes he says that its already 1am, and he left without saying anything else or listening to us.. so we all left and NEVER COMING BACK, NEITHER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO THERE!!!, its better to go somewhere else in Midtown, Downtown Manhattan.

T Boyles is like a dependable prize fighter. "What do I mean," you ask. Shut your face! I'm writing the damn review!! YOU READ IT! T Boyles is located in P Town, off the beaten path and down an alley way, much like a lot of people I know. You slip in the main entrance from the alley, which is when the bar opens up and you find rowdy drinkers at the bar cheering on their favorite non-soccer related sport (It's soccer, not football you band of nincompoops!) Brick walls, large beer selection of good beers, not crappy ones, people and a rowdy crowd of friendly people are all a reason to come and spend some hard earned dollars on some cold brews.

Love coming here. I've been a few times.. I think maybe three? Can't remember. It's always been with my parents though... so that kind of helps, because I didn't have to pay the cover or anything :P Saw Mike Stern play once, and the last time saw Jim Hall (so ancient and cute!). Music was great, food was good, dunno about the alcoholic beverages as I hadn't taken up drinking much the times I came... just got soda and some delicious chocolatey dessert :P But it was always a good time. Great sound, great atmosphere. Staff is... okay. I agree the place can get pretty crammed, especially since they serve the food while you listen, so there's always people walking around with platters and trying to squeeze through.
