Hands down my favorite concert venue in the city. Why? 1) It's small & intimate. Smaller than Terminal 5. You're always close to the band. 2) Great location. Right in the middle of E village.. lots of stuff to do before/ after shows. 3) Multiple floors/ stages. Meaning anytime you go for one thing, there's always other crazy stuff going on that you can wander into. 4) Second floor with nice seats.. good when you're super early to a show and just want to chill. One little thing.. once you go in, no re-entry (at least for a couple shows I went to).

If you wanna go out in West Hollywood and wanna avoid the attitude queens, Trunks is the place to go. Cheap (well, cheap for the L.A. area), strong drinks poured by friendly bartenders. Even if you like the trendy nightclubs, I suggest stopping by Trunks for a few drinks to start off the evening right. During the early afternoon on weekdays it's more of a locals, neighborhood type bar with regulars that you'll probably see every time you go. It's a pretty laid back type of atmosphere in the afternoon that transitions to more of a cruise bar at night. Great place to pick up a hottie twink all the way up to a daddy bear. This is my favorite place to go when in the West Hollywood area. There is a parking lot on the other side of the back alley; entrance on Palm Ave., just east of Trunks.

Fruity soju cocktails are quickly rising in the ranks of my preferred libations. Combine with comfy couches and snackity snacks... I am a happy camper.
