My partner in crime absolutely loves it here. We can dance provocatively with each other without worrying some creeper is going to get on us . The boys always get tables here so we are always "hydrated" adequately while we make love in the club.

It's a HUUUUUUUUUGE club and i always get kicc'd out LOL. i don't know wut i do... i mean i know i stumble here and there but i never FALL!! i think FALLING is the "OK she's gotta go" but stumbling... its soOo harmless! Anyways it's a straight up ASIAN club. I'm not into the ASIAN scene like import models and raced out hondas and drawn on eyebrows...but the homegirl go-go's here n we get in free so i still come.

I think that having live music here was a complete after thought. When it first opened I figured that this place was put in to off set all the other clubs on 6th, kinda making a corridor of hipster clubs al'a skid row. I also admit to not being a 'club' guy so I am naturally put off by such offerings. Anyway, I remember there being some really awful gigs here when they first opened up for live music and the stage and staff were so clearly not ready for the elements that come with live music... I can't tell you how bad it was. It was unspeakable.... However when I heard that the Dandy Warhol's were in town for noisepop, I knew I was going regardless of what club it was at. I'm happy to say that Mezzanine cleaned up and gosh dang it got their shit together.  While not the best place to see a gig in SF I will no longer view it with the disdain I had before and might grow to like it even. Worst club in the city award goes back to Avalon! Or Grand ballroom (whatever it is called, I will NEVER be back).
