I'm always intrigued by their menu but I see all these fancy ingredients and I'm like, hmm but do you have wheat in you!? So I close the menu and sigh silently to myself. Well, the other day we were headed out to go shopping and I had a burning hot Scoutmob for Parish on my phone so we decided to grab some dinner first. (Shopping is better after a drink or two.) I know I have to ask what's in my food anyway so I just need to stop being a baby and try someplace new. Holy shiz, the special was pork tenderloin with some sort of side that sounded fantastic. "Can you ask the chef if it's gluten free?" The waitress comes back and says, "The side isn't but we can switch it up with another side. I really like the sweet potato hash, that would be good with it." Honey, you had me at potato. They start you out with bread and some of the best butter I've ever had in my life. I couldn't partake in the bread, but I tried the butter because well, why not? Who doesn't love butter? C got the TV dinner (AH-mazing!): roasted chicken, arugula salad, potato wedges, fried green tomatoes, and a chocolate chip cookie. I would have been jealous but my dinner was way too good. 3 medium/fat sized pork tenderloins with delicious sweet potato hash (diced sweet and regular potatoes, bacon, peppers, and onions) and man did they go great together. Their wine list looked good, I had a Shiraz. Appropriately priced for the restaurant. And honestly I'm a big fan of anyone who can accommodate me and my special kid syndrome. I'll definitely be back.

I came here on my birthday, we did many stops that night but I don't particulary remember being that fond DNA. The actual place is awesome inside. It's very big for a SF venue and it's got a big upper mezzazine area thats fun if a band you like is playing. (Very good vantage point!) The upstairs also hosts a different DJ than the main area downstairs, which is nice to switch around if someone is playing a song your not fond of. I suppose it depends on the nights you go, but the music didn't seem that great to me the night I went.

omg, there black cherry drink is so good. i forget what its called. although this bars is in the center of tenderloin heights, its nice, and always a really good crowd. i have to say its never been overly packed compared to other clubs and bars in SF on a weekend, but just right. music is good, and bartenders are friendly. they just need another bathroom for sure!
