We were out for a night of drinks and bites at a couple places; this was one of them. We decided to stand at the bar and stay close to the broadcasting of a celebrity photo shoot on the sidewalk next door. I did see Rachel Ray and her husband amongst many others. We ordered drinks and the scallop appetizer. Drinks were what you would expect from this wood, marble, glass and brass eatery. The scallop app was good, cooked to a tender medium with nice caramelization. The staff was thoughtful and I will be back to try more of everything.

If you rate this place bad, you might be an idiot. What do u expect from an after hours bar in a south Philly row house? Tight, smoky room, with moderately expensive cheap beers and ugly strippers. But it's 3:30am you're still buying drinks and having fun in a city that goes to bed at 2am. Show me the other, better option!

Been to Vegas; this ranks up there. it was the first bar that I went to when I cam to SF. I was not disappointed. It's very easy to meet people here. Cool ass smoking lounge if youre a puffer. Cool ass dance floor. Cool ass balcony overlooking dance floor. Chicks are cool . The bouncers all look the same for some reason??? I mean sure you can hate on this place and call it trendy, cliche, blah, blah. But if you are just a normal good look joe or jan looking for a good time this is a good place for you. If you aren't that good looking you are in luck because the lighting is so bad on the dance floor you can't see eachothers faces. Just go there and have fun and don't think too much about it. That's what you are suppossed to anyways on the weekends. Right? I agree though you should drink yourself silly before you come or you'll spend a crap load of cash doing it at the bar. Oh ya if you can't dance you are in luck. I've never seen so many bad dancers in my entire life. It makes the night pretty entertaining. Just hang out and look off the balcony and laugh and hope when you are dancing people aren't doing the same.
