by Grant G. on The Roosevelt is definitely a stead fast Hollywood institution. Keeping it vogue yet refined, the bars have a great ambiance and pack the house every night. Ralph Lauren would be proud that they have been able to keep up with the times and still hold onto their tradition, unfortunately their idea of crowd control and a VIP entrance is not to be emulated. A great place once you get in, just be prepared for chaos if you arrive fashionably late.
by Vance Durell on Mojitos and margaritas in every flavor. Truthfully, I think they only have 24 or something but what a great way to experiment. I tried strawberry, blueberry, pear and grapefruit that night. Only 20 more to go! The drinks are pretty reasonable, $8 for margaritas and $10 for mojitos but that might have been happy hour prices. Food I snacked on was good but I wouldn't mind coming back to try dinner and more drinks!!
