by alesandro r. on Sick Decor. Chill Vibe. Solid Food. Went for a client lunch and the group was easily and comfortably accomodated in the back room. Great appetizers (sweet Hummus selection) and awesome selection. It's all Mediterranean with lots of Spaniard and Greek type dishes. Went with the Kebab Lamb Platter which was delicious and quite fulfilling. Others ordered Salads and even Burgers, everything looked delicious. Client seemed pleased. We were satisfied. All was well. At night it seems to be very trendy and almost nightclub-ish; might be worth a try.
by Porfirio Lidtke on I have nothing against the Pheonix Landing. Its a fairly good place to shake your but and have a good time with friends. The music isnt really for me, but oh well, my friends enjoy themselves. I do however have a problem with some of the patrons that attend this establishment. Could you be anymore sketchy guys?!?!? I mean its one thing to be shy and falling into the "wallflower" category . Its another to be staring at girls on the dance floor and pouncing on them like a Lion shattering the soul of a beautiful Gazelle and thinking you have the right to grind your pelvis on her thigh like its a cheese grater. Im sure most bars/clubs have this problem, however I have seen this more often than not here. Ive been here a few times. Its basically the place we go when we want to stay local and can't make a decision. The drinks are fairly priced as well as the cover to get in (usually $3). I just have a huge problem with guys feeling as though they can get all up on girls just because they are dancing and having a good time. A friend of mine had some words with one of the sketchy dudes because he kept bothering a friend of ours (a female). So ill give this place 3 stars. It has nothing to do with the bar itself, great bartenders, friendy and courteous. Its just some of the crowd that attends it could use a makeover
