There was 7 of us and I said, "It's gonna be a good night..." +No strict dress code [though I don't approve of hoodies in a club] +We did not have to wait in that long ass line! :) -Ron Artest was there [even though I don't like the Lakers..] He was kind of annoying.. Kept stopping the music so he could talk.. -Drinks were overpriced weaksauce!! ++Cute ass bald Filipino guys dancin on me :D +Go-Go Dancers... they got boooty! -Ron Artest tried to teach us how to dougie by bringin "hot" (ugly) ass girls on stage. fail. -Girls throwing up and passing out in the restroom stalls = LONG ass line to use the 3/7stalls remaining... lameO! I hope they didn't throw up from the drinks the bartenders were making because those suckers were weak! -Lots of Trance +Requested some Too Short or E-40 +They played "tell me when to go" then me n my girls went dumb, dumb, dumb, dumbbbb ++They saw the reaction after they played E-40 and continued playin a mix of bay area music for a good 15minutes.. -They switched it up to some salsa type shit.... crowed died... -People starting fights outside while I am trying to exit. blaahh +White girl! Lines in NYC? I think not! It's all about walking to the very front, cutting everyone off, talking to the bouncers and getting in. Models? Yes definitely they're everywhere. I always wonder how you would ask one on a date. I mean they don't eat, right? I always feel bad and become charitable when I see them. I just want to feed them. Men? Yah they are there. Dancing? Well if you consider a guy humping on your leg, then sure. Funny? Definitely, never met so many spoiled guys "taking" their time through college while living off of mom and dad. Nothing like enjoying a night and seeing how the beautiful people live. Such a great happening club.
by Soon Grahan on Love coming here. I've been a few times.. I think maybe three? Can't remember. It's always been with my parents though... so that kind of helps, because I didn't have to pay the cover or anything :P Saw Mike Stern play once, and the last time saw Jim Hall (so ancient and cute!). Music was great, food was good, dunno about the alcoholic beverages as I hadn't taken up drinking much the times I came... just got soda and some delicious chocolatey dessert :P But it was always a good time. Great sound, great atmosphere. Staff is... okay. I agree the place can get pretty crammed, especially since they serve the food while you listen, so there's always people walking around with platters and trying to squeeze through.
