Why go to Vegas when you can go to Lime?! Seriously. My first time here last Sunday and I'm sold. Walked up to the place, took one look inside and said to myself "what the F@#%??" Pure MADNESS was spilling out onto the streets. People blitzed out of their minds at 3 in the afternoon. Food and service was great. Did the cobb salad and bottomless mimosa combo. My salad delish, waitress hilarious, and mimosas I lost track of they were so on top of the "bottomless" part. The one star off is for the looong bathroom lines and broken bathrooms and ok food that some folks in our party had, like the fries and burgers. Shout out to the DJ- music was off-the-chain yo!! 4 days later and I'm still hung from this place. What?!?!! If you've got friends visiting from out of town take them here! If you've never been GO!!

I give it a 3-star, eventhough I had 4-star fun, due to the flooding that occurred when I was there this past Saturday night. The smoking area, men's restroom, and women's restroom were ALL flooded! There was a fight there too!! Though the place was nice and cozy. My friends and I had fun!

As much as I adore the fine folks who run the Cat Club (they're bad ass!), its patrons on dance nights are a bit, er, meat-marketish. I'm a bit jaded in my late 20-something age and increasingly snobbish in my dance dance dance music selection. So Thursday's 1984 is fun once in a long while; there's only so much A-Ha I can take. The front room plays the cheesy Top 40 MTV hits. The back room, when you get there early, plays darker, deeper cuts from your favorite new wave bands, and that suits me just fine. Around 11:30pm, it gets bouffonish, increasingly hot, and awesomely annoying- and that's when I leave. Hey, I got there at 9:30, when it's free to get in, so I got my dance on. Now navigating myself out of the mass of sweaty horny dudes and half-dressed bachelorette girls... that's a problem. Second Saturdays are Club Gossip, and that night fares better. The rooms switch - front plays electro, new wave, etc and the back plays the cheesy stuff (or the songs that had videos) - so the crowd flow is a whole lot better. Less dudes and giggly girls. And sometimes, the DJs from New Wave City do a set- I like those guys. The bathroom situation is definitely a whole lot better now, though what happens behind those doors.... best you don't know. I used to go to the Cat Club when Club Fake was around. And those nights were a hott and sweaty mess of hipsters, good good music, and fun times. If I can remember them.
